Barriers to higher education in the U.S. mean that more than 80% of Latinos 25 and older don’t have bachelor’s degrees. Bloomberg reports that this is a crisis for America’s labor force and the future of our economy.
The doors of opportunity should be open to everyone - we need to pass the DREAM Act and a common-sense immigration process, and we must ensure that Latino students have access to information about scholarships and higher educational opportunities.
